I went in last night to pick up a red velvet cake for my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond. Before I left, they had everything packed and ready — plates, forks, napkins, a cake cutter — and they even asked if I wanted candles. That kind of thoughtfulness makes all the difference. And of course, the cake itself is amazing — that’s why we keep coming back. But it’s the little extra touches from the staff that really made the visit special and made sure everything was perfect for the celebration. These guys are awesome. Highly recommend!

My brother got me two tres leches from here, we saw the pictures and we thought one wasn't going to be enough and we were wrong, we had cake for days lol! One of the best if not the best tres leches I have ever tasted in the US. The price is definitely up there but is worth it when the taste, quality and presentation is that good. No fancy packages, just great tres leches cake.

Absolutely loved this place! The red velvet cake was unbelievably delicious — moist, rich, and full of flavor. The guava coconut was also amazing and such a unique combination that worked perfectly together. On top of the desserts being incredible, Crystal made the whole experience even better. She was so full of energy, friendly, and gave us the best recommendations. You can really tell she cares about the customers and knows exactly what to suggest. We’ll definitely be coming back

So we picked up a slice of almost every cake for a bday relative, and initially Kendrell didn’t know the occasion. As soon as he caught wind that it was for a birthday he went above and beyond and recommend different packaging options and just making it a real nice time for us… and the festivities hadn’t even started :) Anywho! Thank you for making the experience worthwhile and sending us on our way happy and smiling!

Lately this location has been very disappointing. The last three times I’ve ordered from here the tres leches has had NO LECHES. I fell in love with FD cakes when I first moved to Miami in 2022. The tres leches is my absolute favorite. I’ve ordered it from all three locations so I know what it’s supposed to taste and look like. It’s usually swimming in the signature FD tres leches mixture. There needs to be some kind of quality control because a dry tres leches is ridiculous. The bottom was a little moist but the middle was dry, no liquid was absorbed. I think the desserts are absolutely worth the price, but not when the standard falls like this. It might sound crazy to do all of this for a dessert but imagine paying $20-$70 waiting 30 minutes to an hour for your favorite cake to be delivered and then it gets there and it is so dry you can’t swallow it. Does Derek know his tres leches is being served dryer than a Popeyes biscuit. 😭😭
